Auburn Hills Houses For Sale

Auburn Hills began as an early 1800s settlement along the Shawnee Trail between the Red and Sabine rivers known as Doan's Crossing. In 1840, Jesse McDaniel (for whom McDaniels Lake is named) settled in the area with his family and chartered a Methodist congregation, which eventually became Auburndale Methodist Church. When the Houston and Texas Central Railway came through the area in 1872, Auburn Hills did not have a depot or any buildings of note.
